Will You Miss Me, When There's Nothing To See?

Cropped Denim Bustier & Cross Earrings - River Island.
After 12 weeks of roaming the planet Earth with more than enough yarn to make cardigans for a small country on my head, my braids are finally out.
Back to my tiny afro.
It's grown quite a bit though but of course, shrinkage is a female dog so the growth isn't noticeable till you stretch a strand to it's full length.
I really don't regret chopping off my relaxed hair and starting all over.
The only stressful thing is having to twist my hair before I go to bed -(this takes about an hour)- and then taking the twists out the next day -(takes 20 minutes).
If I forget to twist, the hair gets tangled when I sleep. Detangling an afro isn't a nice experience, trust me.
I've still got a few unpublished outfit posts with me still rocking my yarn braids. I'll put them up soon, promise.

  12. You are absolutely beautiful. I'll just start there. Although, I havne't big chopped, I do know the stresses of being (somewhat) newly natural and having to deal with tangles. I'm wishing you the best and I know this will all pass before you know it. Aloe Vera Juice rinses and/or Apple Cider Vinegar rinses after detangling have really helped me loosen up my curl pattern for a much easier and manageable experience.

Keep us posted, you're inspiring more people than you know ;].
